King Kong scans

I somehow freaked up most of the attached photos in the previous South African jazz post. No biggie on the Goldblatt photos, as the link where I took them from is given anyway. The King Kong LP sleeve scans though are my own, and just for the curious, here they are again:

  2. Hi JN! The photos were in my big post preceeding this one here:

By now they have vanished entirely, don't ask me why.

The link where I took them from is given over there, too, but here it is again:

I am somewhat bothered by these greedy comments, while there are very few positive/thank you comments to those blog entries that actually do contain music!

well... what's the feeling behind showing the covers and claiming the greatness of King Kong - A Jazz Opera, but not sharing the way it should be? it's a so rare thing that talking about it should be tolerated ONLY if you have the possibility to offer it. right now and here i can only see frustrated readers who aint satisfied by this show off. allowing to download the covers and not the recording is the worst point. you aint able to rip your vinyl, ok but then don't show off with it, just hide. get a decent turntable or get a new friend with one...

  10. "just hide. get a decent turntable or get..." - mr. anonymous, I really don't know what gives you the right to behave like this here. You don't even tell me your name but you think you can tell me what to do and how to behave? I don't have a working turntable, I never intended to share the King Kong album, yet some time ago I did those scans to share them elsewhere. I provided these here again simply to add some more documentation, that's all. Now if you have any manners, you step out here again and offer some kind of apology, please, and please share your name at least, alright?
I don't like these kinds of comments, and I really feel that I invest quite a lot (too much, really) time in sharing things on this blog, so why is it you only pop up here to complain, but haven't said "thank you" for all the other things?
I'm at quite a loss how to deal with such aggressive hostile comments, I hope I'm not losing my temper either.
