Paul Bley - Amsterdam 2009

Here's a recent solo set by Paul Bley (check out the preceeding post for more).
This was up on dime a few months ago, perfectly presented, but @ 48 kHz. Nero seems to fix this automatically, but the software I use won't, so I changed the FLAC files to 44.1 kHz, in order to be able to burn them... hope you'll enjoy this one as well!

  4. Ubu,
thanks for another great post. Can't wait to listen to it, and the other Bley.
I see you posted Jah Wobble. I'll give that a listen too. Really enjoyed his collaboration(s) with EP, but mostly because of Evan.
    Cheers, Wally

    Where to start?
    Some of my favourites are:
    Ramblin (earlyish solo)
Dual unity & Scorpio (earlyish experimental with synthesiser with)
Time will tell (spacious masterpiece with Evan Parker & Barre Phillips)
    Copenhagen & Haarlem (solo)
Fragments & PB Quartet (group setting with Paul taking a bit of a back seat but excellent nevertheless)
    Mondsee variations (recent solo)
    Cheers Wally
