Renaud Garcia-Fons - Zürich 2000 - now on dime

Renaud Garcia-Fons is a great bass player born near Paris in 1962. He has played, among others, with Cheb Mani, Dhafer Youssef and Kudsi Ergüner.

His "Oriental Bass" programme has also been released on a great disc on the German Enja label, one of the finest addresses for jazz with a world tinge, mostly Mediterranean or near Eastern, with albums by Gianluigi Trovesi, Michel Godard, the project "La Banda", Buhan Öçal, Gabriele Mirabassi, Pino Minafra and others.
