Ingrid Jensen - Montreal 2006 - now on dime

So then, here's a link to today's dime offering - Ingrid Jensen in Montreal, 2006:
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=149214

Live shot taken by Angela Jimenez at Blues Alley, Washington, D.C.

This was broadcast on Rete Due last night and while I didn't know quite what to expect (I've only heard Jensen with Maria Schneider's great big band, am hardly familiar with Gary Thomas, and Geoff Keezer on electric piano?!), it was a very nice surprise! The first 45 minutes flow seemlessly into each other and indeed recreate some kind of Jensen-ized Miles groove, somewhere between bop and electric Miles, not just a bland copy of some of Miles 70s stuff!
