Bill Frisell & HR Big Band play Monk & Mingus - Fankfurt 2008

Bill Frisell is one of the most interesting and intriguing guitar players around. He has done so much, in the most different kinds of settings and bands! Here he is backed by the HR Big Band, playing Mingus and Monk in arrangements by the great Mike Gibbs!

This looks very interesting - and thanks for sharing.
I've downloaded it, and read the notes on how to burn mp2 files, but I can't seem to decompress the .rar file to get at the mp2 files in the first place. I use a Mac and have tried both StuffIt and UnRarX, but both come up with errors.
Any suggestions or help?

Sorry, I can't help with Mac issues... have you tried searching around? I'm not sure it was discussed here, but it certainly was discussed in the internets...

i'm going on jazz guitar & big band/orchestra jag:
abercrombie and the hr big band
joe pass and NDR big band
scofield and metropole orkest
metheny and metropole orchestra

oh well...
does anyone know of any other examples?
